Outdoor School Week for 2012-2013 Tuesday, Feb. 5th through Friday, Feb. 8th 2013
The Conejo Valley Unified School District's Outdoor School Program is a residential environmental education program for the district's 6th grade students.
Outdoor School is held at Camp Bloomfield, Malibu, California, which is located near Leo Carrillo State Beach just off Pacific Coast Highway. This location lets the students see the natural setting of the area in which they live. The camp has access to riparian woodlands, chaparral, canyons, ponds, and tide pools at the beach.
Students spend a few days learning about the environment through nature hikes and activities that focus on the California State Standards for 6th grade science.
